A retired news anchor in the United States has set a Guinness World Record for collecting the largest number of colorful socks.
Jim Donovan, a retired news anchor for CBS Philadelphia, said that during his job, viewers noticed his colorful socks and his fans started sending him new pairs. Some of these pairs also had his face printed on them.
Guinness World Records confirmed his collection, which includes 1,531 unique pairs.
Speaking to Guinness World Records, he said that many people had sent him pairs of socks with his face printed on them for many years.
