Pakistan reiterates support for diplomatic efforts to establish peace and stability in Yemen

Pakistan is closely monitoring the recent developments in Yemen. Pakistan fully supports the diplomatic efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to ensure peace and stability in the Republic of Yemen, and also appreciates the efforts of the United Arab Emirates in this regard.

The Foreign Office Spokesperson said that we emphasize the need to respect the unity and territorial integrity of Yemen and hope that the Yemeni parties will refrain from any unilateral action that could further escalate the situation.

The spokesperson said that we also call on all Yemeni parties to move forward constructively and sincerely towards a comprehensive and negotiated political solution based on mutually agreed points.

The spokesperson said that all Yemeni parties should work sincerely for a comprehensive dialogue and political solution. We hope that diplomatic efforts will end the hardships of the Yemeni people and establish lasting peace.
